Over 6,000 health workers confirmed COVID positive; 250 in Kandy alone: Ratnapriya

More than 6,000 health workers in the health sector have contracted corona virus, Government Nurses Association President Saman Ratnapriya.

Addressing the media, he said about 250 health staffers were tested positive at the Kandy National Hospital alone.

Accordingly, the number of patients admitted to hospitals has also increased with the escalating number of corona patients being reported.
