Over 400 eye lens surgeries performed at Matara Hospital

Colombo, June 6 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 400 people recently underwent eye lens surgeries at the Matara General Hospital under the guidance of the Health Ministry.

The hospital's Eye Unit contributed to the project, which was organised by the Association of Specialist Eye Surgeons and sponsored by the Eye Donation Society.

The progress of the two-day programme was reviewed under the patronage of Deputy Minister Dr. Hasanka Wijemuni.
