Opposition calls for adjournment debate on President’s remarks on court cases

Colombo, May 6 (Daily Mirror) - Around 20 MPs representing the Opposition called for an adjournment debate on the remarks by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in his May Day speech referring to court cases. 

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, Dayasiri Jayasekera, Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, Rohitha Abeywardena and several others have signed the written request which was handed over to Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne today.
