No online liquor delivery allowed: Excise Dept. responds to reports

The Excise Department today denied reports that liquor can be purchased via online from the supermarkets from today.

It was reported that liquor can be ordered online from supermarkets from today similar to ordering other food items.

Excise Spokesman Kapila Kumarasingha said that the department had not authorized or approved to sell liquor online.(DSB)
