Nearly half a million people vaccinated yesterday

Nearly half a million of people were vaccinated yesterday against Covid-19 with over 300,000 second dose of Sinopharm vaccines.

Accordingly, a total number of 490,805 people had been given the vaccines yesterday alone.

Among them, 307,267 received the second dose of Sinopharm vaccine, while 153,958 were vaccinated with Sinopharm first dose.

In addition to this, 25,576 people administered with Oxford-AstraZeneca first dose and 3,620 received the second.

Also, 384 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were given yesterday. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
