Namal leaves CID

Colombo, Feb 26 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) a short while ago, after providing a statement for nearly four and a half hours regarding investigations into a SriLankan Airlines Airbus deal.

Rajapaksa arrived at the CID earlier in the day to provide a statement.

Speaking to the media after leaving the CID, Rajapaksa said he had cooperated fully with the authorities and reiterated his commitment to transparency in the legal process.
