My mayoral candidacy for CMC still under discussion: Mujibur Rahman

Referring to reports that he would be Samagi Jana Balawegaya mayoral candidate for Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), MP Mujibur Rahman yesterday said the matter is still at discussion stage.

“There are discussions going on with regard to the matter but no final decision had been made yet," the MP told Daily Mirror.

Asked about the speculation that former MP Hirunika Premachandra will also contest for the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), he said there is no such move. (Yohan Perera)
