Mother killed, two children injured in elephant attack

A 27-year-old mother was killed and her two children injured when they were attacked by a wild elephant at Dangaswewa in Thanthirimalaya earlier this morning, Police said.

They said the injured , a boy aged seven and a girl aged three, were admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital.

Meanwhile, a 76-year-old was also killed in an elephant attack in Galgamuwa this morning.
