Moratuwa Mayor released on bail

Moratuwa Mayor Samanlal Fernando, who was remanded for allegedly threatening a female doctor and obstructing duties of officials, was released on bail by the Moratuwa Magistrate today.

He was released on a cash bail of Rs.20,000 and two sureties of Rs.200,000 each by the Magistrate.
