Member of ‘Kabali’ gang arrested in Puthukkudiyiruppu

A member of the gang 'Kabali', which is secretly operating in Mullaitivu, had been arrested by the STF along with heroin and several weapons.

STF said that the suspect was arrested at Mungilaru in Puthukkudiyiruppu on information received by the Army Intelligence Unit.

It was revealed that the 'Kabali' gang is an organized criminal gang similar to that of the 'Awa' gang. (DSB)
