Maximum retail price for 18-litre gas cylinder gazetted

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a gazette notification declaring a Maximum Retail Price for the sale of the 18 litres (9.6 kilograms) domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Cylinder.

The CAA said in the gazette notification that no manufacturer, distributor, dealer or trader of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) domestic Cylinders shall sell, expose, offer, display for sale or supply for sale any domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Cylinder of 18 litres (9.6 kilograms) above the Maximum Retail Price within the specified districts.
