Man dies after spending night in lodge with woman

Colombo, May 12 (Daily Mirror) - A 46- year old man spending Sunday night at a lodge with a woman had developed a sudden illness and died on admission to Mahiyangane hospital.

Investigations revealed that he was from the Hasalaka area and that he had reserved a room in a guest house in Mahiyangane town to spend the night with a 45- year old woman from Hanguranketha area whom he had met recently.

The woman was taken into custody by Mahiyangane police on suspicion pending investigations.

OIC Mahiyangane police Chief Inspector Sisira Herath is conducting further investigations.
