Male teacher sprays red ink on school girls

Colombo, April 30 (Daily Mirror) - A male teacher of an International school in Galle who sprayed red ink on the back of school girls dressed in white school uniforms was taken into custody by Galle Police.

The 32 year old suspect was a resident of Kotte and employed as a teacher in a leading International school in Galle.

He had sprayed red ink on the back of school uniforms of several schoolgirls in public at Sarewantukade Junction in Galle and the scene had been recorded on CCTV in the area that led to publicity to the incident through social media.

Investigations revealed that he had joined the International school about a month ago.

Galle Police initiating investigations with the help of the Police Intelligence Unit arrested the suspect teacher.

He was to be produced before the Galle Addl. Magistrate by the Children and Women’s Bureau of the Galle Police.
