Kilinochchi Co-op Insurance branch manager hacked to death

A 33-year-old branch manager of the Co-Operative Insurance was hacked to death at Udayanagar, Kilinochchi yesterday.

Police said the victim who was travelling on a motorcycle was assaulted by an individual who also arrived by a motorcycle.

The victim, a resident of Vavuniya, had succumbed to his injuries on admittance to the Kilinochchi Hospital.

Police suspect that the victim was killed due to a personal dispute.(Romesh Madushanka)
