Indictments filed against Keheliya Rambukwella and his family members

Colombo, June 26 (Daily Mirror) - The Bribery Commission filed indictments with 43 charges agianst former Media, Health and Environment Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and five other family members.

The indictments have been filed against the following accused, the first accused Keheliya Bandara Rambukwella, the second accused Priyadarshani Aepa Weihen, the third accused Chamithri Jananika Rambukwella, the fourth accused Ramalee Rambukwella, the fifth accused Amali Rambukwella and the sixth accused Isuru Bandara Polgasdeniya.

It is further alleged that the accused conspired to commit the offence of money laundering by either directly engaging in the act, aiding and abetting the commission of the offence, or by agreeing to act together with a common objective to commit the said offence resulting in the commission of the offence of money laundering as a consequence of the said conspiracy.
