I sympathise the politicians who claim to be intelligent and educated: Namal

In response to the statement made by former minister Channa Jayasumana, MP Namal Rajapaksa said that he felt sorry for some politicians who claim to be intelligent and educated, but are only interested in advancing their political agendas through narrow-mindedness.

Channa Jayasumana in his earlier statement foresaw that the upcoming budget would be defeated.

Making such a statement is obvious because he had left the party, Rajapaksa said.

"We should not criticize these ideas and instead make decisions standing on the side of the people," Namal Rajapaksa added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
