Highest temperature recorded in Anuradhapura

Colombo, December 4 (Daily Mirror) - During the past 24 hours ending at 8:30 a.m, the highest temperature was recorded in the Anuradhapura District, the Meteorology Department said.

According to the department, the highest temperature was 33.9°C.

They also reported that the minimum temperature, 8.2°C, was recorded in Nuwara Eliya.

The maximum rainfall of 12.5 mm was recorded in the Vavunikulam area of the Mullaitivu District.
