Hemapala leaves CCD

Interdicted Magistrate Dhammika Hemapala, left the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) after giving 3-hour-long statement regarding the telephone conversation he held with MP Ranjan Ramanayake. 

Mr Hemapala arrived at the CCD to give a statement in connection with the said incident.

The Judicial Services Commission (JSC) interdicted Magistrate Hemapala last week, on complaint in connection with the controversial phone recordings of MP Ramanayake.
