Heavy traffic at Town Hall

Heavy traffic was reported in Ward Place and Town Hall in Colombo 7 due to a protest March being carried out by a group of non-academic staff members of state universities.

The protest was organized by the University Trade Union Joint Committee over several demands.

The protest march is moving towards the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Ward Place. (Thilanka Kanakarathna)
