Health guidelines issued to start O/L, A/L classes in all schools

The health guidelines have been issued to start the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) and Advanced Level (A/L) classes in all schools. 

The decision was taken following the special Committee on COVID-19 Control held via video technology. 

During the meeting, the President pointed out that the principals should be made aware of this decision and the process of reopening schools should be implemented expeditiously.

The President also directed the health and education authorities to expeditiously look into the possibility of commencing academic activities for the first year students of the universities.
