Gota has plans to fight global warming: Dullas

SLPP presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa has given prominence to fight global warming which affects Sri Lanka directly, Mr. Rajapaksa’s Spokesperson MP Dullas Alahapperuma yesterday said.

Addressing a news briefing, MP Alahapperuma said global warming was a pressing issue similar to terrorism.

“A majority of countries have identified terrorism as their biggest challenge. Similarly, global warming is also a key and a pressing issue ahead of us. Mr. Rajapaksa has plans to fight global warming which affects all of us,” he said.

He said 26 policy-making committees were currently drafting the presidential election manifesto of Mr.Rajapaksa. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
