Fuel prices increased from midnight today

The Ministry of Energy today announced the new CEYPETCO fuel prices which will come into effect from midnight today.

Accordingly, Petrol Octane 92 would be up by Rs. 20 per litre to Rs 157 while Octane 95 is increased by Rs. 23 per litre to 184.

Auto Diesel would also be up by Rs. 07 per litre to Rs 111 while Super Diesel is up by Rs.12 per litre to Rs 144.

The price of Kerosene Oil would also be increased by Rs. 07 per litre to Rs 77.

Meanwhile, the Lanka IOC also announced that their fuel prices will also be increased from midnight today in line with the CEYPETCO prices.

The Cabinet sub-committee on the cost of living earlier decided to revise fuel prices. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
