Four suspects arrested for assaulting STF officers

Four persons have been arrested for assaulting a group of STF officers in Uhana yesterday, police said.
 
They said that the group of STF officers were assaulted when they were returning from a three-wheeler and a tractor in the Lathugala forest reserve in Uhana.
 
They were intercepted by the suspects who also arrived in a three-wheeler. Police said an STF officer has sustained minor injuries in the attack.
 
The Uhana Police launched an investigation into the incident and arrested four suspects along with their three-wheeler.
 
They would be produced in the Ampara Magistrate's Court.
