Former STF chief Nimal Lewke joins SJB

Colombo, Feb 14 (Daily Mirror) - Former STF chief Nimal Lewke has joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), the party office said.

He obtained the party membership from leader Sajith Premadasa today.

He is the third high ranking officer involved in the defence sector to join the SJB.

The SJB leadership is seen welcoming newcomers to the fold despite some members of the party stressing the need to choose newcomers diligently.
