Five killed, 10 injured in Palai bus-van accident

Five van passengers had been killed and 10 bus passengers were injured, when a bus and van collided head-on at Palai on the A9 Road this morning, the Police said.

The bus was heading to Vavuniya from Jaffna, while the van was heading to Jaffna from Vavuniya at the time of accident.

The Police said the injured were admitted to the Kilinochchi General Hospital. (Romesh  Madushanka)
