Five injured after Jaffna students clash at a hotel in Kopay

Five students were injured in a clash between two groups of students at the Jaffna University Science College in Kopay in Jaffna last night, police said.

They said the clash had taken place between the second and third year students due to an argument at a hotel at Palpanni Junction.

Police said the injured students had been admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.

No arrests have been made so far and Kopay police are conducting further investigations. (Romesh Madushanka)
