Batticaloa’s former mayor Sivageetha Prabhakaran, her husband E. Prabhakaran and two others were remanded till November 7 today on charges of operating a brothel at her residence in Batticaloa.

They were produced before Batticaloa Magistrate M. Ganesharaja today. (Jaufer Khan)
