Election Commission clarifies National List MP eligibility

The Election Commission has clarified the criteria for appointing Members of Parliament (MPs) through the National List. 

According to the Commission, only individuals who were either included in the National Lists submitted by political parties or independent groups before the General Election, or candidates who contested the latest General Election but were not elected, can be appointed as National List MPs.
