Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - Eight Sri Lankan cricketers are set to take part in the fourth season of the International League T20 (ILT20), scheduled to be held from December 2025 to January 2026.
Defending champions Dubai Capitals have retained former Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka and fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera. Sri Lanka’s current white-ball captain, Charith Asalanka, has been retained by Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, while wrist-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will continue with Desert Vipers.
Meanwhile, MI Emirates have bolstered their squad by signing Sri Lankan all-rounder Kamindu Mendis, while spinner Maheesh Theekshana has been picked up by Sharjah Warriorz.
The six ILT20 franchises are expected to finalize their full squads through a player auction, with further details to be announced soon, according to a league statement.
