Easter Sunday’s attacks PCoI report sent to CID for probe on President’s orders

Colombo, April 20 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has directed the Secretary to the President to hand over the report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) into the 2019 Easter Sunday’s attacks to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.  

"The Commission report has been handed over to the CID by the President's Secretary,” Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala told Daily Mirror. He added that the CID would rigorously examine the document.  
While the specific version of the report was not clarified, sources confirmed it was from the PCoI report into the 2019 attacks, chaired by former Supreme Court Judge Janak de Silva.
