Death toll reaches 28 in Negombo Prison clash

Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - A prison guard who was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital with severe injuries following the violent clashes at the Negombo Prison has passed away.

With his demise, the total death toll from the prison unrest has increased to 28.
