Court of Appeal extends order issued on Ranjan’s Parliamentary seat

The Court of Appeal today extended the order issued to the Secretary General of Parliament not to take any action over the Parliament seat of imprisoned MP Ranjan Ramanayake until March 24.

A bench comprising Justices Arjuna Obeysekara and Mayadunne Corea gave the above order regarding the writ petition filed by MP Ramanayake.(Thilini De Silva and Ranjan Katugampola)
