Continuing Unity Govt.: SLFP to give proposals to UNP

A senior member of the United National Party (UNP) said yesterday the party would soon receive a copy of the proposals recommended by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).

He told Daily Mirror the UNP was ready to discuss the continuation of the unity government with the SLFP no sooner the proposals are received.

Meanwhile, the UNP working committee and the parliamentary group are expected to approve a resolution calling for the continuation of the unity government with the SLFP till 2020.
