Coconut dropped by monkey kills man

A man who received serious internal injuries when a young coconut dropped by a monkey fell on his head died after admission to the intensive care unit of the Kegalle General Hospital.

The victim A.G. Jayasena (81) was a resident of a Estate in Bulathkohupitiya. 

Investigations revealed that he had attempted to pick a coconut lying under the tree when a young coconut fell on his head.

Bulathkohupitiyia police are conducting further investigations.
