Cancellation of police leave extended till June 15

The cancellation of leave of police officers will be extended till June 15 as the travel restrictions have been extended till June 7, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He said a large number of police officers have been deployed in respect of COVID-19 and quarantine duties.

Therefore, leave of all police officers, except for those serving in isolated areas had been canceled from May 11 to May 31.
