Bus fare revision to be announced tonight

Colombo, October 1 (Daily Mirror) - The National Transport Commission (NTC) has decided to grant the benefit of recent fuel price revisions while reducing the bus fares.

Commission director General Ms. Nayomi Jayawardana said relavent calculations are underway at the Commission and the new bus fares will be announced at midnight today.

Accordingly, bus fares will be reduced by 4.24%, and the minimum bus fare will be reduced to Rs. 27 by reducing a rupee.
