Britisher drowns during surfing

A 36-year-old British national drowned while surfing at the Madiha beach in Matara on Sunday.

Police said the victim, identified as Jonathan Edwin Lewin died after being admitted to the Matara Hospital.

Madiha surf point is known as the 3rd best surf point in Sri Lanka.
