Army troops rescue university student who fell off Alagalla Mountain

The Army troops have rescued a university student who had fallen down the treacherous slopes of the Alagalla Mountain in Kegalle. 

The incident occured when a group of 10 students from the University of Wayaba, who had been on a night camp excursion yesterday, encountered an unforeseen mishap. 

One of the students had fallen down a steep cliff, sustaining severe injuries.

The troops promptly provided necessary medical assistance and stabilized his condition. The rescued student was transferred to the Mawanella Hospital for further medical treatment.
