Aluthgamage released on bail

UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage, who was arrested by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today, was released on bail by the Fort Magistrate’s Court a short while ago.

MP Aluthgamage was arrested on charges of misappropriating government funds amounting to Rs.39 million in 2014 to buy Carrom and Checker-boards.
