40 Covid-19 patients identified from isolation lifted areas in Colombo, Gampaha

A total of 40 Covid-19 patients were identified yesterday from the areas where the isolation status was lifted in Colombo and Gampaha.

Isolation imposed on the Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort, and Slave Island police areas in the Colombo District and Ja-Ela and Kadawatha police areas in Gampaha District was lifted at 5 a.m today.

A total of 400 cases were reported in Sri Lanka yesterday and 121 patients were identified in the Colombo District while 112 patients were identified in the Gampaha District.

Accordingly, twenty-five cases were reported from Colombo 08 (Borella), ten cases from Colombo 02 (Slave Island/ Union Place), one patient from Wellampitiya in Colombo and three cases from Kadawatha and one patient from Ja-Ela.
