37 trainees at Kalutara Police College contract COVID-19

A total number of 37 trainees at the Sri Lanka Police College in Kalutara tested positive for COVID-19, health officials said.

One of the six trainees who had gone to seek medical treatment for headache at Nagoda Hospital was confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19 after they were subject to PCR tests.

Accordingly, 36 more trainees contacted the virus. All the infected have been directed to the Intermediate Care Centre at Katukurunda for treatment.
