30 security personnel hospitalized

A group of about 30 security personnel had taken ill after eating meals served at the Army Language Training Institute in Kotmale today and were admitted to Gampola Hospital.

Hospital Director Dr. Sarath Weera Bandara said four of them were receiving in-house treatment and the others were discharged after OPD treatment.

Police and security force personnel are admitted to the Language Training Institute, in Kotmale for residential training. The officers who developed vomiting and stomach ache after eating the meals served to them were admitted to hospital. (By Suranga Rajanayaka)
