3 injured in lorry accident in E01

Three people were injured following a Lorry accident between Kottawa and Pinnaduwa on the Southern Expressway (E01) this morning, police said.

In the accident occurred at the 65.5L mile post at 12.10a.m and the police said that lorry driver must have fallen asleep at the wheel.

The injured were admitted to the Nagoda Hospital.
