244,251 people get AstraZeneca second doses within 2 days

A total of 244,251 second doses of AstraZeneca vaccines have been administered since Monday ( August 1) with 174,985 AztraZeneca vaccines administered yesterday.

State Minster Prof. Channa Jayasumana said that 22,981 doses of AstraZeneca were also administered as the 1st dose in the Kegalla district yesterday.

Also, 203,515 doses of Sinopharm vaccines had been administered as the first dose while a total of 18,483 second doses of Sinopharm vaccines were given to the people yesterday.

In addition, 2,490 doses of the Moderna vaccine had been administered as the first dose yesterday.
