The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL), the representative body of the insurance industry in the country, concluded its Blood Donation Drive 2023 successfully on 24th August. The Blood Donation Drive 2023 attracted overwhelming participation from the members of IASL and insurance industry personnel and other stakeholders who donated blood to display the strength of the community coming together to save valuable lives.
The insurance sector has been a pillar of support for its policyholders through the various crises affecting the community and the nation, offering protection and financial security to help policyholders tide over the tough times. The Blood Donation Drive 2023 is another initiative by IASL which encourages insurance industry, stakeholders and the public in general to step forward by being selfless and donating blood which could save lives of people who need it the most.
