A howl of protests against receiving the newcomer!

There is widespread speculation in political circles that a talkative Telephone politico is planning to join the government.

A former top team member in several governments in the past, this politico has been involved in a number of court cases too.

Another family member of this politico too was in the Diyawanna council during the yahapalanya days. He too soon made a name as a teller of tall tales!

Reacting to the speculation gaining ground that the former purohita was set to join the government, a group of seniors of Pohottuwa, the main partner in the ruling coalition had met and decided to protest against accommodating him. 

The Pohottuwa seniors at this meeting had raised the query: “  Meya inna thana api reddak andagena aanduwata udawu karanne kohomada?  (How can we support the government with our clothes on when this one is in it?), they say.
