No statement from BIS: CB
A Sunday English read indicated that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has been issued ‘an advisory statement due to the bank’ inability to preserve financial viability’, by BIS.
“The Central Bank wishes to state that such media report is false and baseless, and that such an alleged statement has never been issued by the BIS” the clarification by the Central Bank noted.
