The protracted war between Iran and Israel backed by the USA, has created an unprecedented upheaval in the whole world, causing inexpressible insecurity, mental and physical suffering to the civilian lives. The war has affected people not only in the war-torn lands but also in neighbouring countries and throughout the world.
The suffering and the grief of innocent non-combatant civilians caught up in the war zones is indescribable. People are uncertain about where the next missile hits and where dwellings would be engulfed in flames. People are being forced to flee or vacate the houses with children, elderly, sick or perhaps with the handicapped. They may be forced to live in refugee camps with no proper supply of food and sanitation, healthcare, rest or sleep, recreation, employment, source of income and, most of all, individuality and dignity of life.
It seems that the invaders are deriving sadistic pleasure from watching the enormous humanitarian disasters of bloodshed, and rgw demolition of age-old buildings of archaeological value by means of a senseless and futile war.
When will the aggressors develop a sense of remorse or repentance for the crimes they have committed against humanity? When will the world be able to heave a sigh of relief from this bloodshed and wanton destruction of an ancient civilisation?
