Sri Lanka, Russia hold first joint counter-terrorism drills at Maduruoya

Ambassador of Russia Mr. Levan Dzhagaryan attended the Russian-Sri Lankan Joint Tactical Counter Exercise - WOLVERINE PATH 2025 (October 25 - November 04, 2025, Army Training School, Maduruoya).

The exercise is designed to enhance military cooperation, strengthen professional bonds and develop joint counter-terrorism capabilities between the two nations through a series of field training drills, tactical simulations and interoperability exercises.

The event marks the first-ever joint field training collaboration between the Sri Lanka Army and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
