Spreading Sai Baba’s message of love through recitations

“Akhanda Sai Jyoti” and “Sai Satcharitra” recitations which began yesterday (March 13) will continue till May 1 at the Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram, Meditation and Community Centre in Avissawella. 
This “Akhanda Jyoti” will remain continuously lit for 49 days, burning 24 hours a day, spreading divine blessings and positive energy. The event includes the uninterrupted recitation of the sacred Sai Satcharitra, which narrates Shirdi Sai Baba’s miracles and teachings. Devotees believe that participating in this recitation brings peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth. The purpose of this event is to spread Sai Baba’s message of love, unity, and selfless service to society.

This special occasion was initiated on March 13 by Sri Sri Siddha Yogini Sri Mathaji, a spiritual leader , messenger and devotee of Shirdi Baba who herself lit the lamp and commenced the 49 days of recitation of the Sai Satcharitra. Mathaji hails from India and has dedicated her life to uplifting humanity through spirituality and has performed several “yagnas” and “Akhanda Jyotis” all over the world. 
The Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram, Meditation and Community Centre in Avissawella warmly invites everyone, regardless of their religion or ethnicity, to participate in this auspicious event and receive blessings. Devotees are also welcome to sponsor poojas and “aarathis” during the special 49 days of “Mandala” pooja.  The “Mandala” pooja signifies the mutual energy exchange between Sathguru Sri Sai baba and his beloved devotees, a process called “Shakthi Path”.
